2024 Upgrades to the BlackJack

Dear BlackJack Community,

Your trust and feedback have been instrumental in shaping the BlackJack into what it is today. We’ve worked tirelessly alongside industry professionals, including law enforcement and military partners, to refine our BlackJack firearm platform. Today, we’re excited to share how your input has directly contributed to a series of improvements, ensuring that the BlackJack offers the reliability, comfort, and adaptability you expect.

Why We Made These Improvements

From the start, our mission has been to create a firearm that stands up to real-world demands. Listening to your experiences, as well as those of our professional partners, has been essential in guiding the enhancements we’ve made. Our goal is simple: to provide a product you can trust in every situation.

Key Upgrades Based on Your Feedback

1. Improved Extraction and Ejection

Early feedback indicated challenges with casing extraction and ejection. We have since redesigned the extractor for more consistent performance, even after extensive use. Additionally, the ejection port has been expanded to ensure smoother ejection, reducing malfunctions across various shooting conditions, including different ammunition and suppressor setups.

2. Broader Magazine Compatibility

In response to your requests, we’ve expanded magazine compatibility. The BlackJack now works seamlessly with Scorpion EVO magazines from brands like CZ, ETS, PSA, and Magpul (including the 35-round and D-50 Drum options). This gives you more flexibility to choose the magazines that best suit your needs.

3. Ergonomic Trigger Enhancement

Your feedback highlighted the need for a more comfortable trigger. In partnership with Hiperfire, we introduced the XAK® MARK-1 trigger as the OEM trigger. This upgrade improves your shooting experience with a more ergonomic design and a smoother trigger pull, reducing fatigue during extended use.

4. Reduced Gas Blowback

Law enforcement and military professionals provided valuable insights into gas blowback issues when firing suppressed. We addressed this by incorporating new milling and sealing techniques to minimize gas escape, improving sight picture and control during rapid fire.

5. Reliable Bolt Catch

We listened to your concerns regarding the bolt catch’s reliability. The redesigned bolt catch now offers more consistent last-round hold-open functionality, ensuring you can count on your BlackJack when it matters most.

How These Changes Benefit You

Our commitment to continuous improvement means that every BlackJack now reflects these upgrades, designed to offer a more reliable and enjoyable shooting experience. If you currently own a BlackJack, reach out to us if you’re unsure whether your model has the latest enhancements. We’re here to help verify and update your firearm to meet our current standards.

Keep an eye on our Instagram and YouTube for update videos—we’ll be going over each upgrade in the coming weeks.

Your Role in Our Journey

You’ve been at the heart of our journey, and your feedback has driven these changes. Together, we’ve addressed challenges and actively shaped the future of the BlackJack firearm platform. We remain committed to supporting you with a product that embodies reliability, adaptability, and performance.

Thank you for being part of this community. With your continued support, we’ll keep pushing the boundaries to bring you a platform that you can trust and enjoy.

Sincerely,
The Show Low MFG Team
